چکیده

Climate change-related catastrophic events have a considerable influence on south-western coastal agriculture in Bangladesh. The objectives of this study are to measure the agricultural vulnerability households Bangladesh due climate-induced disasters and find sub-indicators adaptive capacity (AC) that vulnerability. An index (AVI) was developed by using intergovernmental panel climate change (IPCC) dimensions AC affect were identified an ordered logit model. This employed survey 346 from two villages (181 Sutarkhali 165 Nalian) Union Dacope Upazila within south-west district (Khulna) country. main respondents household heads. findings demonstrated had mean score 0.703 (high) for exposure, 0.762 sensitivity, 0.397 (low) AC, 0.689 AVI (high). Similarly, Nalian scored 0.658 0.681 0.410 0.643 AVI. Non-farm employment, livestock ownership, irrigation pump access, improved crop diversification/saline tolerant high-yielding variety (HYV) crops farm credit access found be statistically significant both sites.
